Action beyond poverty: a discussion with Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee and Seva Mandir

A team visit from the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) hosted by Seva Mandir in Udaipur, Rajasthan saw founder and chairman of Community Jameel, Mohammed Jameel KBE and 2019 Nobel laureate and J-PAL director, Abhijit Banerjee, visit community development initiatives on natural resources, childcare and nutrition, women's empowerment, and education in remote villages in Udaipur, where Banerjee has spent more than a decade studying development problems and their solutions.
