Global warming made Horn of Africa drought possible: WWA study
Scientists say that rising greenhouse gas emissions made the drought in the Horn of Africa at least 100 times more likely. A group of 19 international scientists, including Guyo Roba, head of the Jameel Observatory, assessed how climate change affected rainfall in the region in a report published by the World Weather Attribution.
