Graduate student talk with J-WAFS student Elena Sobrino

Elena Sobrino, a student in the Abdul Latif Jameel Water and Food Systems Lab (J-WAFS) community and a PhD candidate in MIT’s history, anthropology, science, technology and society programme, explained the water toxicity crisis in Flint, Michigan, at an MIT Visual Arts Center event. The backdrop was Gilberto Esparza’s 'Plantas autofotosinthéticas' — part of the 'Symbionts: contemporary artists and biosphere' exhibit.
