MIT Jameel World Education Lab welcomes three member organisations dedicated to helping aspiring innovators to start smart

Three non-profit organisations with a proven record of local and regional support for emerging entrepreneurs are joining MIT's Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) network as its pilot innovation cohort. Member organisations benefit from J-WEL's curation of ideas, workshops, global linkage to like-minded educators, access to MIT resources, and collaboration, enabling them to better serve learners. Each new member is launching a programme under the heading of StartSmart, recognizing their expertise in their regions and prior collaborations with MIT. "StartSmart members are ready to inspire and equip entrepreneurially minded learners who will put what they learn to use within their communities. The careers they build, solutions they develop, and new businesses they create will benefit many," said Dr Anjali Sastry, faculty director of J-WEL.
