WHO meeting on music and motherhood: healthcare innovation through the arts

The Jameel Arts & Health Lab, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office Europe, will host a one-day stakeholder meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark about the role of arts in health, highlighting the results of a multi-country pilot implementation study on arts interventions for mothers experiencing postpartum depression titled, 'Music and motherhood.'

The event will bring together cultural and health policymakers, global arts and health experts, project partners and arts practitioners. The meeting will serve to showcase the study's results, explore drivers and barriers to promoting arts participation as a health behaviour and examine how WHO Member States are integrating arts interventions into their health systems.
