Buildings and Climate Global Forum
Synopsis
France and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) co-host the Buildings and Climate Global Forum in Paris on 7-8 March 2024. The forum convenes ministers, high-level representatives and 800 participants for international collaboration on the decarbonisation and resilience of the buildings, real estate and construction sectors. The forum includes roundtables, plenary meetings, exhibitions and pitches as well as an invitation for governments to endorse a declaration of principles and a framework for global cooperation.

In this panel event, urban planners and high-level representatives discuss innovative and effective solutions to reduce build environment emissions, adapt cities to the impacts of climate change and improve quality of life.
This session is organised by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, the French Ministry of Energy Transition, Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) and the UNEP.
