2019 Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo alumna and brass work tutor Noha Al-Qahwaji speaks to Sada El-Balad about her decision to leave her primary profession in education in order to pursue the study of traditional Islamic craft practices at the Jameel House. The organisation offers a two year diploma in traditional arts training including woodwork, brass work, calligraphy, ceramics and geometry. Now a product designer and tutor at the Jameel House, Noha illuminates her craft and the process behind her brass work designs.
