Nile News: The Jameel House programme is an opportunity to develop the skills of traditional artists

Programme director of the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo, Mamdouh Sakr, speaks to Nile News about the educational course, which accepts a cohort of approximately 20 students each year to study traditional Egyptian crafts from calligraphy, to ceramics and woodwork. The programme's open call started in June 2024 for applicants for its 2024-2026 cycle.
