MIT AI technology can predict breast cancer onset 5 years earlier, researchers say
MIT Jameel Clinic's AI faculty lead Regina Barzilay and PhD candidate Adam Yala speak with WCVB ABC News about the clinic's AI technology, Mirai, a tool that analyses breast cancer images by identifying subtle pattern changes far better than a human eye can discern. The technology can predict an individual's risk of developing breast cancer five years before onset.
