All you need to know about the Jameel House open call for its 15th diploma programme
The Cultural Development Fund of Egypt and The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts announced the open call to apply for a diploma at the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo, in what will be the 15th cohort of the traditional craft and arts programme. Located in Fustat in historic Cairo, the Jameel House was launched in 2009 and is a collaboration between The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts, Community Jameel, and the Cultural Development Fund of Egypt. With a mission to preserve and champion Egypt’s oldest crafts, the Jameel House accepts around 20 students annually on a two-year training programme to study the disciplines of carpentry, wood veneer, stained glass, copper and ceramics. The programme was developed and delivered by The Prince’s Foundation School according to the same principles and standards as the courses at the London campus. Applications are now open and remain open until 24 August 2023.
