Clara Barbier Serrano / Robert Finegan / Tianqi Ling: Paris Chapters featuring music by Rhona Clarke

The inaugural Andrea Bocelli Foundation-Community Jameel Scholarship recipient, soprano Clara Barbier Serrano, will perform alongside saxophonist Robert Finegan and pianist Tianqi Ling in a programme composed by Rhona Clarke. The contemporary music performance includes solo and chamber pieces based on the works of Irish writers who lived in Paris. The programme interprets and imagines what James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde and WB Yeats would have listened to and been inspired by. The first in the series of performances took place on 21 September 2023 at Institute Français Royaume-Uni, London. Clara and her accompanists will perform again in London on 22 October 2023 at 16h00 at the City Lit Recital Room.
