Lefanu 'The path above the dunes'

Gramphone Newsletter reviews 'The path above the dunes,' a new volume of four works by Nicola LeFanu featuring 2019 Andrea Bocelli Foundation - Community Jameel Scholarship recipient Clara Barbier Serrano. Clara sings stories derived from ‘Fragments from a Book of Songs’, including on 'The moth ghost' (2020), an arrangement for soprano and piano set to a poem by James Harpur which tells the Greek tragedy of Thetis, a mythological goddess who knew her son, Achilles, must die.
