Artificial intelligence and machine learning in lung cancer screening

Recent advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) hold substantial promise to address some of the current challenges in lung cancer screening and improve health equity. AI/ML tools have shown predictive ability to identify individuals who would most benefit from screening, which could further improve the efficiency of lung cancer screening programmes.
